To anyone that follows the blog regularly I’m sure you are calling shenanigans on my referring to this as “Week 3″ of my learning to program process as it has been a few weeks since I last posted on it. Ironically it is my interest in Android that slowed my progress on this project as I took a job as a contributor to Android and Me and it has taken me a little while to adjust to the added workload. Week  2 of my Java/Android learning process went fairly well after a brief speed bump early in the week trying to use NetBeans. I quickly converted to Eclipse and haven’t had any difficulties since. Common wisdom was to start using only a text editor, but I would just as soon hit the ground running and learn the relevant shortcuts and terminology from the beginning. Read More…
